The electric power industry started its transition to a competitive market structure with the passage of the Energy Policy Act in 1992 to open up transmission access.  Subsequently, Federal Regulatory Energy Commission and states have adopted regulatory policies and rules that led to functional unbundling, separation of generation and transmission functions, retail competition, and formation of Independent System Operators, Regional Transmission Organizations, and ITCs.  EPG team has extensive experience through participation in:
